Morning all,

after two days where we have seen some big results, with some huge French performances and 7 away wins out of 8. Today looks a lot more settled, again the French teams look very strong and I sense there could be an upset in Ireland.

Lyon OU vs Gloucester 13/12/20 13:00ko

Today starts with a monster out French side playing a weakened Gloucester. The cherry and whites travel with an under strength squad which could be a huge mistake. They have been hit and miss so far in the Premiership even at full strength, so coming down here to play a side who seem unbeatable in the top 14 is an impossible task. 30 points on the handicap could be a joke come the final whistle as there will be no let up as the French sides continue to flex their muscles.

Lyon OU -30 points on handicap 10/11 most major bookies, you may be able to find 29 points with some. WON

Racing 92 vs Connaught 13/12/20 15:15ko

Last years beaten finalist start this years competition at home against a COVID hit Irish province. A side scattered with stars all over the park, there really is no hope for the men from the west coast of Ireland. Racing can really build on last years near miss and I think they take all the beating in this years competition. Connaught are missing 4 first team players for today’s match which doesn’t help an already near impossible task and I think will find themselves on the wrong end of a pummelling today

Racing 92 -18 points on the handicap 10/11 with most major bookmakers (lost)

Double these two up for a nice Sunday bonus

Munster vs Harlequins 13/12/20 17:30ko

The weekend finishes at Thomand Park, Munster have begun the season well, but have been playing under strength sides through the international window, and for me at these times you have to take all results in that league with a pinch of salt during these periods. Quins the last 2 weeks have been nothing short of brilliant. They have identified how they want to play the game and are executing their game plans perfectly. Even the week before, the result against Exeter doesn’t read well, but for 40 minutes they were only 1 point down before the Exeter power game took them away in the 2nd half. I wouldn’t say a big bet, but it is well worth taking a chance on them causing an upset and getting yet another away win today.

Harlequins to win 4/1 best price with Betfred, generally 7/2 (lost)

enjoy the rugby today guys, hopefully the French turn on the power and class to win us some money
