On the cusp of a possible new national lockdown in England, and with Wales and France already in one, we are finally able to enjoy one last great day of 6 Nations rugby. What is in store after today I don’t know, so make sure you tune in and enjoy
England are rightly favourites to lift the trophy in Rome, with by far the easiest task, you would fully expect the, to collect the 5 points they need, as the Irish who currently lead by a point have a hell of a task ahead of them travelling to Paris to meet the French, a side who took Wales to pieces a week ago. While in Cardiff, Wales will be playing for some National pride and the Scots will be looking for their best finish in years and have a very strong chance facing a very quiet Principality stadium

as I said above, neither of these sides have a chance of winning the competition, but both are still playing for some national pride. Wales have the added pressure of this being Alun Wyn Jones 150th appearance for the Dragons. They had less than ideal prep getting well beaten by France last weekend. Scotland had a comfortable warm up against Georgia and welcome back two Premiership winners today who will have a big influence in their side. The physicality of the Scottish pack may prove too much for the Welsh and with Finn Russell coming back into the team with Hogg, they have some star quality behind the pack as well. The stadium being empty is a big negative for the Welsh, I have never been in a stadium with so much passion for the home side, this counts for 10 points on the pitch every time. All of these factors lean me towards the Scots getting their first away win in Wales in the 6 nations since 2002.
Scotland +6 handicap, Evs with paddy power, betfair, will hill, others shorter – WON
Scotland to win 9/4 with bet365 and betfair – WON
Italy vs England 31/10/20 4:45ko
no bet offered in this match today, enjoy what should be a very comfortable England 5 point win, the bookies have covered themselves with the handicap, looking and the previous results in this fixture they are all very close with the handicap offered. And nothing else really takes my fancy in the market. As I see the match going, Italy will be competetive for the first 40 minutes, as they always are, but without every really threatening, that is what they continue to miss, that real X factor going forward. England will hopefully be patient and use the full 80 minutes and an explosive bench to rack up some points and eventually lift the trophy.
France vs Ireland 31/10/20 8:05ko
In the final match of this years competition we have a cracker with both sides still in contention to win the title. France, if it hadn’t been fo4 one moment of madness in Scotland would probably have been playing for the Grand Slam, while Ireland have also gone along well up to now taking a comfortable win against Italy last weekend. Ireland’s real task this weekend is going to be trying to keep the half back partnership of DuPont and Nntamack quiet. If they manage this then they have a real chance, of winning, but it is not anything that any other side has yet managed. It will be a bruising encounter with some real heavyweight runners around the park, but I fully expect the French to come away with the win. It won’t be enough to win he title, as their points difference is currently inferior to the English and I don’t expect that to get any better today with the two different oppositions they face.
France -4 handicap, 10/11 most major bookies – WON
