In a world that has so much going on with this virus, I am just happy we have games on. Both on paper have the potential to be great games. And we have a bet for you in both of them

England vs Wales 7/3/20 4:45 ko

England will look to build on their performance against the Irish from 2 weeks ago. Even though people talk about how good they were, they really only played for 40 minutes. They only scored 3 tries, and two of them came from dodgy bounces. I don’t want to squash peoples views of what they thought was an awesome performance, but for all their dominance, they were unable to pull away from the Irish and only won by 12, with one of the worst performances I’ve seen from an Irish team in years. Wales, you could say they were unlucky not to beat the French and they may feel hard done by. They didn’t take their chances either. Even if England play really well, this is not a Welsh team you can dismantle. They have an ability to stick in games. This won’t be as one sided as the bookies make out

Scotland vs France 8/3/20 3:00ko

I hope and expect France to confirm the promise they have shown in the first three rounds. I am really excited to see Damien Penaud back in the starting lineup, and Dupont and Ntmack could run rings around the Scots all afternoon. They make things looks very easy at the moment. Scotland need to try and slow the match down, they need to go back to forward strength and build platforms from the scrum and line out. The scrum has been an area they have been strong so far and I think it’s the only way they may get a foothold in this game, if it is open, and that is how I expect it to be, as the Scots will get fooled into throwing the ball around, it will be a high scoring contest, so play the total points as well

Total match points over 42.5 is 10/11 with bet365 and betfair, others shorter – WON

To score 2 or more tries Damien Penaud 15/2 Boyle sports, betfair 13/2 – (Lost, only 1 try for Penaud)

France -5 handicap EVS bet365, others 10/11 (Lost)

play the handicap double for another banker and one step closer to the 14/1 Grand slam and 11/2 championship. Then play the total points and try scorer bets as singles
