morning All, European rugby is back on our radar again this weekend, I am still trying to work out how our double wasn’t landed last Sunday, we will have vengeance this weekend though, we start with a trip to Dublin before heading down to France and finishing in Salford

Leinster vs Northampton 19/12/20 12:00ko

You couldn’t help but be impressed with the Leinster performance last weekend, and today they face a Saints team who have now lost their last 9 games in a row, and come into the game without a recognised 10 in the match day squad.
One thing that can be guaranteed is that we will see tries. Saints know that Leinster are a try scoring machine and if the restrict them to 6 today they will be doing well. So the only way they can approach this game is to throw the ball around and try to score some of their own. Unfortunately this Leinster team are too good. They will run away with this high scoring affair with ease

Leinster -32 handicap 10/11 with most major bookies (lost)

over 8.5 tries in the match EVS with Paddy Power (lost)

Clermont vs Munster 19/12/20 18:00ko

Last weekend I was shocked by how good Clermont were, they have been so hit and miss through their domestic season so far, European rugby does seem to bring out the very best in this club, and the backline they possess is just unreal. Munster travel with a weakened side, really the only way they can get into this game is by winning the breakdown and set piece, but because of injuries they are struggling upfront. As soon as Clermont gain some parity or even some front foot ball they are near impossible to stop. I fear this could be a humbling day for Munster who were lucky Quins didn’t take their chances last weekend as that was a lot closer than the score line suggested.

Clermont -7 handicap 10/11 most major bookies (lost)

Sale vs Edinburgh 19/12/20 20:00ko

Im not sure where to start with Sale at the moment, injury ravaged in the pack, lost their head coach, struggling for consistent form on the pitch. Edinburgh have been good so far this season, yes beaten well by Leinster, and pipped by the Top 14 leaders last weekend, but that is not something to be ashamed of. Tonight’s match is going to be won up front. Unfortunately for Sale they are very short of options in the 2nd and back row. They are having to play one of the best back row units in Europe today and that is where Edinburgh win this match. Richard Cockrill is beginning to build a very nice squad here and I expect them to win tonight

Edinburgh to win 9/4 best price with Betfred, generally 2/1 WON

Enjoy a great day of sport today, play the results as doubles and trebles and have a win single on the total tries
