Free Season Preview
The Gallagher Premiership 2021/22 is due to start this weekend.
Rugby Knowledge will provide you with a FREE Preview (see below) of the season prior to then, as well as a Free Preview for the 2022 Six Nations Championships on February, which will be updated nearer the time.
Some great Tournament Bets have been landed since Rugby Knowledge was launched just 3 years ago,
We’ve covered 3 Six Nations Championships, advising Wales for the Grand Slam in 2019 at 14/1 as well as for the Six Nations Championship at 5/1, so two great winning bets.
The Six Nations 2020 was almost a Grand Slam follow up with France advised at 14/1, and but for a slip up at Scotland, they really should have done the job. Still as a back up we covered with a 1-2 in the Championship of England 1st and France 2nd at 15/2, a lovelt winner as well as a bit of a banker in France for a Top Two finish at 5/2.
Let’s not forget the Rugby World Cup in 2019 where we successfully advised South Africa to win the World Cup at 9/2 as well as Top Points Scorer in Handre Pollard at 5/1.
All in, our Rugby World Cup Bets showed a healthy 12.97 Points Profit.
Free Premiership Preview for 21/22.
Good morning rugby fans,
Tonight sees the return of the best domestic club competition in the world. It feels like a lifetime ago the Quins lifted that trophy on an outstanding summers day at Twickenham in possibly the best final I have ever seen.
But it all starts again tonight at Ashton Gate where Bristol welcome a reformed Saracens, who may not look as strong as they did 2 years ago on paper, but still have a squad who can compete at the top table. We offer a couple of Season bets this morning, leaving the game tonight alone, I have seen as much pre season rugby as physically possible, but it is always hard to judge exactly where sides are until they get going in the league. Hopefully there will be a few stand out bets over the weekend to get stuck into, but we may start a tad cautious
This season sees a 13 team league for the first time ever, and with no relegation this season teams can be allowed to play with the freedom without the fear of losing and going down. It will be very interesting to see how the clubs perceived to be lower down the league approach it. There may be more upsets than ever in what is already an ultra competitive competition. One side who have been very shrewd in the market place and seem to be building a nice squad again are the Tigers. Borthwick has a nice backroom staff behind him now and an exciting looing squad to play with again, this season may see the resurgence on the Tigers and I would be tipping them to reach the Top 4 at the end of the season. With Saracens coming back in, you would expect them to be competing for that top spot, making an already tight and congested league look harder, but for me Exeter are still the team to beat. They are so consistent and hard to beat at home, so much quality and depth throughout the squad, for me they are a cut above the rest. And with the consistency of Joe Simmonds boot, he should be top point scorer this year, a lot of his main competitors will lose game time either on international duty or because of squad rotation, he is the stand out for me
Premiership Top 4 Finish – Leicester Tigers 11/2 best price with skybet, others generally 9/2
Premiership Champions – Exeter Chiefs 5/2 best price with several top bookmakers
Top Premiership point scorer – Joe Simmonds 4/1 best price across the board
Good luck, enjoy seeing the Premiership back tonight and I will have further updates tomorrow morning as well as the weeks and months ahead.
