A Big welcome back to the Premiership after the enforced absence, and we have a great first round of games for the return. We will be a little tentative over the first couple of weeks as a lot of sides have new signing bedding in and will all be at different stages of progression after the pandemic. So small stakes to set the feelers early on. But have patience as once I get the feel for where everyone is again our results over the last 2 seasons speak for themselves and we can make some money from the bookies!!

Harlequins vs Sale 14/8/20 19:45KO

A very intriguing first match with a few matches within the match here. 1st game for Manu Tuilagi in a Sale shirt who will be wanting to show why the Sharks splashed out the big bucks for him. Also Chris Ashton after falling out with Sale pre lock down plays his first match for Quins, against his old club and will be out to prove a point with them. Sale should win this, the destructive power of their forward pack along with the control they get from Faf De Klerk at 9, should see them over the line. But our one bet comes in the the anytime try scorer market. One player on the park has already got plenty of game time under his belt while playing super rugby in New Zealand. Joe Marchant is one of the quickest and most illusive players in the Premiership and his experience of playing in New Zealand through the summer will only of helped to develop these skills. I expect him to be very dangerous tonight

Joe Marchant Anytime try scorer best price 11/4 (bet 365/Will Hill/betfair) others shorter (lost)

Worcester vs Gloucester 15/8/20 12:30KO

I think the handicap on this game is falling well short of where it should be. Gloucester look a dead cert to me, with the restructuring of their coaching staff, a few good signings, they look like they will be a handful for anyone throughout the rest of this season. As long as they hit the ground running and are able to give Cipriani some good front foot ball, they will pick teams apart on these firm summer surfaces. Worcester look to me as if they will be well short of what this Gloucester team have up their sleeve

Gloucester -3 Handicap 10/11 most major bookies – WON

Just the 2 bets advised for the first weekend back.

As I said above, easy early couple of weeks to see where each team is at. Good luck and lets make some money
