Exciting to have midweek rugby for the first time in a long time, lots of changes throughout the sides at the moment is really testing the depths of teams and the cream is certainly rising to the top.
Leicester vs London Irish 26/8/20 18:00 ko
We side with Leicester again, they may have let us down at the weekend, but i see now i was expecting too much from their youngsters to be able to control a rampant Bath, But the side they have picked to play Wednesday night is very different. They are full of stars, and will be keen to record their first win since lock down against what i believe will be a tired opposition as so many of them played and chased Northampton around the park on Saturday. Irish could only score 3 points on Saturday against an under strength Saints, I think they will be competitive for the first 40 minutes, but the well rested stars at Leicester will grind them down and win very comfortably
Leicester -12 handicap, 10/11 most major bookies (lost)
Worcester vs Harlequins 26/8/20 18:00 ko
Worcester look full strength on paper and Like Leicester will be hunting a home win. Quins, went full strength at the weekend coming up short against Saracens, and rest a lot of those players Wednesday night. Worcester have played some nice rugby since the resumption without getting the rewards. They should prove much to strong for a Quins 2nd string string and pull away well late in the game, recording a bonus point win
Worcester -5 handicap, 10/11 most major bookies (WON)
Northampton vs Bath 26/8/20 19:45ko
Saints took a while to warm up at the weekend, their passing looked sharp as they tried to stretch Irish as i commented they would. But it took until the 2nd half for things to click winning that half 24-0. They pick a much stronger side Wednesday night and will have fed off of the 2nd half performance at the weekend. Bath come in looking an awful lot weaker on paper and seem to be targeting games throughout the rest of the season. Saints will have too much in the locker for them, and with so serious firepower could put on a performance for the home…stadium.
Northampton -8 handicap 10/11 most major bookies (lost)
Play the doubles and treble night. Confidence is high we can land all three, so don’t be shy. Don’t forget to enjoy
