Well, what can we say. A final round in an extraordinary season, and just as we thought everything was ok and we would have 6 matches to feast on today, Covid rears it’s ugly head again and we are only left with 4. Saints have every right to feel frustrated having to give up their fixture with Gloucester, for these two sides it a disappointing way to finish the season. I am still trying to workout why it is a different rule for Sale though who are able to postpone their match with Worcester.

I hope you all took advantage of the advised bets midweek. Landing Nice win doubles and trebles. I am confident we can keep that run going today

Leicester vs Harlequins 4/10/20 15:00 ko

A final run out for Chris Robshaw in a Quins shirt may not be enough to get them over the line today. Tigers team sheet reads very strong and on what looks to be a wet day in the East Midlands it is not a day for wide offloading rugby. Leicester have picked a big strong pack, and on a day there is going to be a lot of handling errors, set piece and forward dominance is going to win you the match. It is an area Quins struggled to get parity in mid week and today they meet a stronger pack. They might struggle to get any foothold in the match

Leicester -3 handicap 10/11 most major bookies (lost)

London Irish vs Bristol 4/10/20 15:00 ko

4 points is a minimum requirement for Bristol today, 5 would be great and give them a better chance of making the semis. Irish have chosen a full strength side for this final encounter and took the scalp of Exeter at Sandy park mid week. That will have given them a lot of heart. Bristol have been nothing short of brilliant in the last couple of weeks, but can they handle the pressure. This will be a very closely contested match up to the hour mark, but the strength Bristol have coming off the bench will see them home and they may sneak a bonus point at the end. I think the handicap is all wrong though, this will not be a one sided affair, not with the way the weather is.

London Irish +21 handicap with bet365, most others only offering 17 points, take advantage if you can (lost)

Saracens vs Bath 4/10/20 15:00 ko

This could be match of the weekend. Sarries look fairly strong and will be driven by a passion to go out on a high, it truly is the end of an era for them today. Bath though are driven by not wanting their season to end. They have been superb since the resumption, I didn’t think they would be anywhere near the top 4, but have been proven wrong. Bath have match winners all over the park today and I can’t see any other result that a Bath win. The bookies still have Sarries as small favourites, so we will steal a couple of points on the handicap

Bath +3 handicap 10/11 most major bookies (WON)

In the final match of the day, what could have been a firecracker is now a slow burning candle. Rob Baxter has chosen to rest his stars and Wasps who have to win are at full strength. The handicap shows 17 points in Wasps favour, but this looks fairly on the mark so we are leaving this one alone

3 advised bets so play the doubles and trebles again to really go on a hot streak finishing off the season. Enjoy the day and good luck all
