Back to the domestic stuff this week, Saturday and Sunday brings us enough to get our teeth stuck into with a very watchable East Midlands derby

Exeter vs Wasps 30/11/19 15:00ko

The chiefs have just had a great 2 weeks in Europe, putting themselves in a great position early in the group. Wasps in the 2nd tier competition continue to be underwhelming. This is a great chance of a big 5 point win for Exeter which I don’t expect them to let slide by. In the backs the sides are fairly well matched. But the difference will come from the two packs. Exeter have so much power, the front foot ball the can give their back line will make the game. And when they get chances in the red zone, their forwards don’t give the ball up unless they come away with a score

Northampton vs Leicester 30/11/19 15:00ko

how Saints managed to win last week is still beyond me, probably the worst 40 minutes we have seen from them this season, saw the 18 points adrift, but the way they came back to win with a bonus point was very impressive. Back on home soil, with a full strength side back out I would expect them to win well. Tigers on the other hand, even though they are on the back of two wins, that was against sub standard opposition. With their internationals back they look stronger on paper, but they just aren’t in the same place as Saints at the moment

Bristol vs London Irish 1/12/19 15:00ko

There is not a better form team in the Premiership at the moment than Bristol. Pat Lams team can continue to keep looking up, the rugby they are playing is great to watch and there is a really good feeling in camp. Nathan Hughes is proving to be the signing of the season and has fitted into the side seamlessly. Irish all of a sudden can play with a bit of freedom because of the Sarries points deduction. But it may end up going against them, because they don’t have to scrap for every single point. I can see this being a real thumping
