Not sure what we can say about last night, gutted. How we only landed one bet in the end I will never know, Gloucester should have won that game and will rue a couple of butchered chances allowing Bristol to cling on in the match, truly gutted.

Today we keep things very simple, I think there are 3 stand out handicap prospects which we are going to play in, throwing them in as a nice little treble, so lets get to it

England vs Italy 13/2/21 14:15 ko

England last week had no plan B against a Scotland side who strangled the life out of them. You could see even before half time that even though they were in the game on the scoreboard, they were never really in the game. Scotland seemed to have the measure of them for 80 minutes. Italy, well, they were poor, even by their standards. France took them the bits for 80 minutes, and yet only won by 40 points, so why after a performance like that from England and all of their recent performances are the bookies offering the handicap at 36 points? England would have to be beyond their best to beat Italy by that margin today, and Italy cannot surely be that bad again. They will have learnt a lot from that defeat last weekend and come back a bit stronger. By no means am I saying they are going to give England a game, this is still going to be a comfortable win for the English, but I just think the Handicap is all wrong

Scotland vs Wales 13/2/21 16:45 ko

Scotland, we have to start there. They were outstanding last weekend, they played the conditions, the match tempo, possession an territory perfectly throughout the game, never allowing England a chance to build phases and pressure as they like to. They wasted a few opportunities in the red zone as well, showing the margin of victory could have been a lot wider. They will be sharper for that performance and I don’t think you will see them give up those chances this evening. Wales on the other hand could count themselves very lucky last weekend. If they Irish had kept 15 men on the park it would have been a very different result, never underestimate how much harder it is for sides playing for that long a man down. Ireland will still be kicking themselves. Throw into the mix as well today that Wales are without their starting 9, 11, 12, 13 from the match last weekend is a real disruption for them. Scotland can build on last weekends confidence and take Wales apart today

Exeter vs London Irish 13/2/21 16:15 ko

Exeter although they have won the last 2 weeks, haven’t looked right for 3 weeks now, it seems the stuffing at the hands of Wasps, then losing to Bristol along with losing their international contingent has really hurt them. They don’t look the same unbeatable team as we have grown to know. of the two games they have won the winning margins are 6 and 4. So why against the form side in the league is this handicap so much. Irish on the other hand are in tremendous form winning 4 of their last 5 and the other match was a draw. Paddy Jackson at 10 has slotted into this team and is controlling everything they do. Following two good homes wins and what looks to be a fantastic draw away at Quins with how they have been since that match, surely Irish come here not just hoping for a losing bonus point, but are coming for a win. The handicap on this games seems completely wrong to me offering a 12 point buffer and we will take advantage of it.
