To say we were unfortunate not to land everything yesterday is an understatement. Personally I was shocked by how good England were, I didn’t think they had that performance in them. It was by far the match of the tournament, and will be very hard to beat, some stunning rugby played by both sides. Today we play in the 6 nations game, but leave the Premiership alone
Scotland vs Ireland 14/3/21 15:00 ko
on paper this looks a belter, Ireland have definitely have the wood over the Scots the last few years, and I think that will continue today. Yes the Scots are a good team to watch and they are turning into a tidy side, but have they quite got what it takes to beat this experienced Ireland team? No
Ireland will win the battle on the gain line, giving them the go forward ball and allowing Sexton to load up his big ball carriers before either releasing they pace they have wide or kicking the corners to make Scotland play from deep in their own half. Or that is what I would be doing. So much of today is going to be how Russell is able to force the game from being on the back foot. He will have a few moments of magic, but he will be under so much pressure it will be difficult for him to make much happen. Ireland for me today take all the beating and will actually run away with this in the 2nd half after building and early lead
