Well, there is one way of washing away the Cheltenham blues. What a day of rugby we had. Got to feel for the Welsh this morning, they gave everything yesterday and I hope you followed the advised bets and made a few Bob with 3 advised winners, and only missing out on the last in the very last play of the game. Ireland did jut what was expected and both them and us can look back on the tournament as one that got away, they really should have won both of the matches they went down in and injuries and suspensions playing havoc for them. We look ahead to today though, and we have 2 Premiership encounters to get into.

Sale vs London Irish 21/3/21 15:00 ko

So up in Salford today we have what should be a hard fought encounter. London Irish have been a very competitive side this season so far and I don’t expect that to end today. Paddy Jackson is playing some of the best rugby of his life at the moment, and they are really starting to build a team around him. I do sense though that their defensive line has been a bit passive and weak at times allowing big runners to get over the gain line, there is one player in Blair Cowan who has stood up week on week to change this, but with him out of the starting lineup today I fear Sale and their explosive confrontational pack will gain easy metres presenting a great platform for the backs to expand on. Of course their little star at 9 will be at his irritating best, spoiling any ball for Irish while exposing weaknesses in their defensive line. Sale will have too much in the power game for Irish today

Sale -6 handicap with bet365, most others showing -7 points (2 point win) – WON

Northampton vs Bristol 21/3/21 15:00 ko

The bookies don’t have this one far off, and yes Bristol have earned the right, being top of the table to be faves here today, but I think it should be the other way round looking at the two lineups. Bristol lack those leaders and true flair players as you expect in their backline today. Of course they still have that power game up front, but will they have the skill out wide to expose Saints, 5 big players missing in this backline are just too much. Saints continue to grow week on week. Really starting to feel Boyd is getting his marker down on this squad now. they are playing an exciting brand of rugby and with so many home grown players it is really great to see. They have surprisingly found scrum dominance in the last few weeks giving them a great platform to run and offload. Grayson is turning into a leader at 10 and is a great option to have in Bigger’s absence. Saints to cause a mini speed bump to a weakened Bristol side today is the play

Northampton to win 6/5 best price with Paddy power and Betfair, others slightly shorter (2 point win) – (Lost)

play the double today as well and the two singles (1 point win)

enjoy and good luck
