Yesterday can only be described as frustrating. Saints did the business at Welford road, even with a side decimated by injury, losing 3 players before kick off and another 2 early in the match. Quins though… a stupid, unneeded red card. They still got the win, but playing over 30 minutes against a quality side like Irish is going to affect the result. Frustrating

Wasps vs Bath 25/4/21 15:00 ko

Ok, so there is only one winner at the Ricoh this afternoon, and unfortunately it isn’t going to be the side searching for a first home win since January. Until Wasps find that winning thread again I can’t back them. They showed great signs for a long time against Clermont 3 weeks ago, but still couldn’t get over the line. Bath on the other hand are winning those tight matches and with a big European semi final next weekend won’t want to go into that on the back of a loss. They have so much class in that side that it still mystifies me as to how they are still just a mid table side. The battle of the back rows will be interesting today, I can see the penalty count being quite high because of the quality on show. And will come down to composure, which Bath have in abundance. It won’t be a runaway victory, and may be quite a low scoring encounter, but Bath will win.
