Two games played last night, and happy I left both alone, a real war up in Salford saw Sale really put their Premiership winning credentials on the line with a backs to the wall win against Bristol. While in Gloucester, the Cherry and whites came out close winners in a hard fought win against Irish. We play in two of the three matches today
Harlequins vs Bath 29/5/21 14:00 ko
The bookies have this priced up heavily in Quins favour, but I really don’t think they will have everything their own way today. This confrontational Bath back row will look to spoil anything Care and Smith try to put together, bringing big physicality to the match. Then will look to chip away at the scoreboard with Priestlands boot, and hopefully chip in with a couple of tries. their strength is really on the bench though, where as long as they stay in touch early, they will have a real chance to win in the last 25 mins
Bath +12 handicap 10/11 most major bookies (2 point win) – WON
Northampton vs Wasps 29/5/21 16:30 ko
Saints have not been at the races at all the last couple of weeks, now whether this is because they have realised their season is realistically over, or just battered from a hard 12 months, I don’t know, but I couldn’t back them with any confidence. Where Wasps on the other hand have been playing some cracking rugby the last few weeks. I expect them to turn up big today with a super exciting backline that given front foot ball can tear any side apart. They won’t have it all their own way of course, but they have a real chance of a good away win this afternoon.
Wasps +6 handicap EVS with bet365, others showing 10/11 (2 point win) – WON
play the singles and a 1 point win double this afternoon, to fill that piggy bank
