Today is one of those days everyone looks forward to throughout the year, First Round of the 6 Nations. We have already offered up our pre tournament bets, so hopefully they will run and go well through the tournament. If not we will have round by round betting options as well as offering bets continually through the Premiership. We left last nights game alone, and glad we did with Sale causing an upset at Ashton Gate. Lets get into the important stuff now

Wasps vs Northampton 6/2/21 13:00 ko

A very interesting game from the Ricoh Arena in the early kick off saturday. For me the bookies have this matched priced up the wrong way. Wasps took a beating at the hands of a rampant Quins last week, and their side only looks weaker today, with more key players missing in the pack, Umaga dropping to the bench and Sopoanga dropping out of the squad completely. Saints make a few changes as well, losing the injured Furbank and Biggar on Wales Duty. But they have very able replacements, with Grayson and Freeman stepping in to fill the void, they rotate a few as well and the bench looks very strong. We are siding with a Saints win and also taking advantage of the handicap on off to really kickstart our weekend

Italy vs France 6/2/21 14:15 ko

First match of this years tournament is on the main continent. It is a game where you are never sure what is going to happen year on year. Italy did show a bit of promise in the Autumn, But France are soo strong at the moment, showing this by having their almost 3rd string side take England to extra time in the Autumn Nations cup final. They should be much too strong for Italy today, but there is just always that little question in the back of your mind with this match, could they? it has happened plenty of times before when the French have been so strongly fancied. And for this reason we are staying away from the results and handicap. Instead, we are looking at the French getting some forward dominance and scoring a try or two through the big lads, and there is no better big lad on offer than Julien Marchand, he is a beast and he will be latching onto the back of the rolling mauls looking for that free ride to the line. The French defence will be too much for Italy as well, so if it is a close game, it will be low scoring, and it the French run away with it the Italians won’t get many either, which means the Total points market comes right into play

England vs Scotland 6/2/21 16:45 ko

This looks like a belter. It wont be one sided, the Scots will travel here really liking their chances in front of an empty Twickenham to cause a big upset. I can’t see it happening. The Scots will want to spread the ball and will look to stretch England and score tries, because they know if it turns into a controlled arm wrestle then England will be too strong for them. England will try to control the possession, kick to compete and play in the right areas of the pitch so Scotland have to attack from deep. I can’t see it being a 35 all draw as we had a couple of years back, but it will be interesting none the less. England will control and win the match without having to really stretch themselves and show too much. Which is why I believe it will be low scoring and England will win both halves
