Into the business end of the tournament. We have 4 potential crackers of which we will be advising bets on three of them. We will be leaving Wales vs France alone. This is the most unpredictable of the four matches. Generally you know what you are going to get from the Welsh, a lot of passion, physicality and a team that in recent times have taken chances and points when they are on offer. If a game is in the balance they have been ruthless. In France as ever, you don’t know what French team is going to turn up. They could be loose and expansive and take the Welsh apart, they could crumble under the pressure. I geniunly don’t know, so it isn’t worth the risk. Lets look at the other three then

England vs Australia 19/10/19 8:15am BST

Very interesting and very frustrated that England have left Ford out of their starting lineup. For me he has beeen their best player at the tournament so far. But even without him there is too much firepower for England to loose. There is plenty of chat about the Aus backline and how exciting they are. But England match them and exceed then look at the two packs. The Aus backline are going to live off scraps all game. This England pack are too big, too strong and too well drilled to let the Aussies have anything. This will be a comfortable win for the English, roll on the semi finals

England -8 handicap 10/11 (most major bookies) – WON

New Zealand vs Ireland 19/10/19 11:15am BST

An Ireland team out to prove critics wrong. I am one of them, i believe they peaked a year too early for this tournament and are not the force they were when they beat NZ for the first time in their history. NZ just dont stop coming at you. They are relentless and have so many players that can win you a game. I really would like to see Ireland give NZ a scare, and i think they will be in the match for the first 40 mins, but the Kiwis are too strong for this team and the endless pressure will tell, it will be over by 60 minutes with NZ running out easy scoreboard winners even if the actual match was a contest.

New Zealand -12 handicap EVS (most major bookies) – WON

Japan vs South Africa 20/10/19 11:15am BST

SA SA SA. The Bokkas are too strong. I would love to see the dream continue, because the Japanese have been a joy to watch this tornament. And i hope you all took my words last week, and enjoyed the match for the spectacle it was. It is so enjoyable watching the Cherry Blossoms at the moment. They play with pace and skill and really look as if they enjoy everything about the stage they are put on. South Africa though wi not be caught out. 4 years ago, they were. Not this weekend. It is a very different green and Gold they will be facing this time. They are like a well oiled machine. The mixture of power, skill and pace along with a few great rugby minds, there ca  only possibly be one outcome for me. Thank you though Japan, you have been a joy to watch

South Africa -15 handicap EVS betfair and PP, other shorter – WON

A great rugby weekend with the premiership starting as well. Be sure to check out the bets for that, there is some real confidence behind them.

Enjoy the quarters and play the doubles and treble this weekend to keep building that bank
