After a quiet couple of days and a few unexpected results, we are ready for a win. Fiji of course ended up being much too good this morning as expected. But I just couldn’t have been confident after their last performance.
South Africa vs Italy 4/10/19 10:45am BST
One winner here, and I would expect a very comfortable one. SA are such a strong team and they have not hidden the big guns away for this match. They are close to full strength against an Italian side who are very unstable.
The bookmakers have adjusted their handicaps in our favour, so South Africa now only give a 25 point start.
25 points on the handicap could be an insult to SA and I can see them running up quite a score against the Azzuri. Even at full strength the Italians are no match for the Boks and with a 1/4 on the line they are going to put in a big performance.
SA -25 handicap EVS (most major bookies) – WON
It is also worth having a look at the tryscorer and other markets. Not a lot of value in the 1st tryscorer or anytime tryscorer, but with the expectation of a number of tries, lets have a small dabble on a hattrick of tires from either Cheslin Kolbe or Makazole Mapimpi who are both prolific try scorers.
To score a hatrick
Cheslin Kolbe 12/1 – (lost scored 2 tries)
Makazole Mapimpi 14/1 – (lost)
A few other shorter pried bets are also advised. – Please note these are based on prices with Ladbrokes. Similar bets should be available with the majority of bookmakers.
South Africa to score over 4.5 Tries at 8/11 – WON
South Africa to score over 37.5 Points at 5/6 – WON
A Yellow Card to be given at 8/11 – With the likelihood of a lot of South African pressure, every chance Italy will concede penalties and get a yellow. – Lost, A Red Card was given!
Good luck all and check back tomorrow for the weekend bets
