Lets get started……..

Friday Matches:
Chiefs 11/10 to win
(various bookmakers)
The first of the all kiwi affairs sees the Chiefs vs Highlanders. A big first home performance from the Chiefs will put a marker down for the rest of the league. Hopefully they can get off to a flying start…

Brumbies handicap -9 15/8 (william hill, others shorter)
The Brumbies and the Rebels face off in an all Aussie tie. And i would take the Brumbies to get off to a good strong start, the Rebels have a team to threaten the best of them but have always struggled to really put the performances together regularly. They may come good as the season goes on, but i think they will get off to a slow start, the Brumbies being too strong for them

Saturday Matches:
Crusaders handicap -6 10/11
(various bookmakers)
The second all kiwi match sees the pre tournament favourites travel to Auckland to face the Blues. The Crusaders have a team packed with superstars and a lot of depth to their squad and can get the regular season off to a quick start with a dominant display

Bulls handicap -3 10/11 (various bookmakers)
Over is South Africa, the Bulls take on the Stormers, not the force of old but the Bulls still have a lot of class in their team. A couple of players well known in the northern hemisphere Shalk brits and Duane Vermulean make their debuts. And these two add a wealth of experience and strong ball carrying. They could help to push the Bulls on to good things again this season.

The advised bet this week would be the trebles of the four games above and the acca at approx 20/1 (to place acca with one bookmaker, may have to move handicap one point either way)

Good luck all, fingers crossed

  1. Bit confusing with the wrong write ups against the recommendations!

Reply: Apologies a bit of a mix up from a colleague inputting the data whilst we were away from P.C. – We’ll ensure this doesn’t happen again.

  2. At 9’0’clock Thursday night, there were no tips. As The Friday games kick off early should the tips come the night before.
Luckily (for me) they both lost!!
The previews for Friday and Saturday are the wrong way round.
